(WDDE) James Dawson reports ~ Report on obesity gives First State a mixed review
The latest national obesity figures rank Delaware in the middle of the pack, with more than a quarter of residents qualifying as obese. More than 66 percent of Delawareans over 18 can be counted as overweight or obese. But those aren’t the only health risks. Laura Segal, one of the study’s authors, notes that the First State ranks 10th in the nation for the highest hypertension rates.
