Join us for our upcoming Solar Homes Educational Workshop with Flexera, the Delaware-based company that submitted the winning proposal for our Solar Homes Program.

Have all of your solar questions answered by an extremely knowledgeable Flexera representative and bring your electricity bills with you to have a customized solar proposal developed for your home during the workshop!

Today is the best time to consider installing solar! 

• Rooftop Solar is as green as it gets! Every watt you generate replaces electricity that might otherwise come from burning coal or other dangerous fossil fuels.
• Support local business: The Delaware Chapter of the Sierra Club is the only Chapter that engaged in its own proposal process to select a Delaware-based company for the Solar Homes Program. We are proud that our Solar Homes partner is a Delaware business that employs Delaware labor.
• Install Delaware-made panels: You can choose to install quality Motech panels that are assembled right here in Delaware!
• Get upfront information: The Sierra Club has done much of the homework for you, and we offer solar homes workshops with our trusted partner Flexera that explain everything you need to know about going solar, including incentives, renewable energy policy, bidding in for Solar Renewable Energy Credits and more.
• Reduce your overall energy consumption: By bundling your solar installation with a home energy audit (which Flexera will include for free if you install w/them) you can choose to make those energy and money-saving solar kilowatt hours go even further.
• Make your own "peak" power: By generating energy when we need it most (during the peak hours of the day), solar electricity negates the use of coal and natural gas peaking plants and prevents the stress on our electric grid that causes blackouts.
• Save money: Get a discount just for being a Sierra Club member! When you install with Flexera you'll not only be helping out our chapter and reducing your carbon footprint, you'll be helping your wallet too.  It's a win-win-win!
