Save The Valley & The Newlin Grist Mill

Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

219 Cheyney Rd, Glen Mills, PA

Join us for a day of family fun at the Open Space Music Festival at Newlin Grist Mill! There will be great music from 10 different bands, craft beer, and good food. For the kids, we'll have pony rides, face painting, and some colonial-era games. For kids of all ages: water ice, lemonade, and other goodies. No admission charge for children under twelve when accompanied by an adult.
On the western edge of Delaware County, Pennsylvania lie two of the last large tracts of unspoiled land in Concord Township - Beaver Valley and Newlin Grist Mill. While Newlin Grist Mill was privately saved over 50 years ago, it still faces regular challenges in its effort to maintain its open space. Beaver Valley, unfortunately, is slated for "development" despite widespread community opposition. Help us permanently preserve these amazing places and have fun in the process.
Things to bring to the festival: lawn chair (bag chair) or blanket, insect repellant (if you're tasty to insects), cash, and your passion for open space.
As this is a fund raiser for Save The Valley, The Newlin Grist Mill, and The Beaver Valley Conservancy, we can't permit any BYOB alcohol or food. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
