Education Voices is a non profit organization and it's mission is to educate and advocate urban communities while representing individual students in discipline and special education related matters. On Saturday, September 7, 2013 Education Voices will be conducting their first annual public education conference. The title of the conference is "pressing issues in education".
The conference will begin at 8:30 am and end promptly at 1:00 pm. After a brief registration and introduction, the Honorable County Councilman and long time student advocate, Jea Street, will conduct a powerful interactive workshop highlighting the Neighborhood Schools Act and the notorious Brown vs. Board of Education. At 11:00 o'clock lunch will be served, during which a nationally recognized leader in education will talk about issues in the public education system today.
Please take the opportunity to reserve your seat early and register for this free education conference. For additional information please contact Hynson Educational Consultants at (302)559-7889 or email us at info@educationvoices.org.
