Friday Night Grand Opening Celebration of their new shop location (58 East Main St) Friday, October 11th from 3:30-7 PM. Snacks will be served and all ages are welcome. Our friends at Down to Earth Food Co-op will be making their famous hummus and serving up other hors d'oeuvres for the occasion!

A little bicycle recycling effort that started in my one-car garage less than two years ago is now a community bike shop and community center, occupying 10,000 square feet in the bustling center of Main Street, Newark, Delaware. Non-profit Newark Bike Project is the largest non-chain merchant space in the downtown area.
Retired bicycles donated: 889
Bicycles refurbished back into the community: 552
Customer bicycles repaired: 717
Volunteers: 68
Mechanic training classes conducted: 17
Mechanic students trained: 34
