For the first time in years, the United States and Iran are on a path to resolve the decades-long standoff over Iran’s nuclear program. But just as U.S. and Iranian diplomats are starting to make real progress, your senator, Chris Coons, signed a letter calling for more sanctions and more saber-rattling. The letter discourages President Obama from pursuing further talks with Iran unless Iran agrees to unrealistic preconditions.
