Film Screening Wednesday
7pm This Wednesday, Nov. 13
Gore Hall, Room 116, University of Delaware
Delaware ADA and the UD College Democrats are hosting a free community film screening of the film We’re Not Broke, which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
We’re Not Broke is a film that exposes the way that multinational corporations including Pfizer, Google, Forest Laboratories, Bank of America and Apple are permitted to cheat America out of 100s of billions of dollars in tax revenue. The Christian Science Monitor reported, "WE’RE NOT BROKE ranks no. 1 of top 5 documentary films getting buzz at Sundance." Noah Nelson of The Huffington Post called the movie "essential viewing." The Salt Lake Tribune noted that We're Not Broke sheds light on tax dodging in a way that is "as thrilling as it is infuriating." Delaware ADA held a similar film screening in Lewes this past June, and now Delawareans in New Castle County will also have a chance to judge the film for themselves!
